Stress in humans results from interactions between persons and their environment that are perceived as straining or exceeding their adaptive capacities. human stress responses reflect differences in personality, as well as differences in physical strength or general health.
The causes of stress can include any event or occurrence that a person considers a threat to his or her coping strategies or resources.
The symptoms of stress can be either physical and psychological. Stress-related physical illnesses, such as heart attack, and chronic headache, result from long-term over stimulation of a part of the nervous system that regulates the heart rate, blood pressure, and digestive system.
I like your post, it was very easy to understand. I know that in this day we stress about almost everything, well, at least I do, I don't get much sleep either, so I know that is a big part of my problem. I like your video with cartoons but very informative and entertaining. I used to do yoga, I started after my kid was born, and because I was having so much personal problems I thought about doing something that could keep me calm and in control because I tend to have a few physical problems realted to stress. I learned over the years how to manage my stress, although sometimes I let it control part of my life, I continue to look for ways to be calm, like working out or play a video game (yes! I said it!) when no one is looking hahaha!! Thanks for te posting, very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the video you posted. It was entertaining and educational. I liked how it showed different ways to manage stress especially because most people in college suffer from stress. It's important to just relax and take things as they come. I like to exercise like the video said, I really believe it is the best way for me to reduce my stress level.
